Description
The Alabaster is a novel mode of fragrance diffusion, heat-less and steam-less, imbued with great perfuming power. Its name derives from the Greek vases that were once used to preserve the fragrant oils necessary for body care – the earliest perfumes –, whose porous terra cotta would hold in the exquisite emanations.
The Alabaster is made up of a painted porcelain box, and of a frugally carved piece of exceptionally porous sedimentary stone, whose structure is extremely finely honeycombed. The impressive absorption coefficient of this layered mineral makes it the best and simplest of containers.
The upshot: cupboards, wardrobes, bathrooms, cars as well as rooms medium and small are perfumed with l’Officine’s scents.

Scents
Retour d'Egypte: the sacred scent of ruins, of deserts peppered with tombs and columns buried under the millenary blows of the sun. In the alabaster vases and spun-glass vials, the petrified fragrance of amber and benzoin, of flowers and fossil woods, of ancient magic.
Head notes: Bergamot, Pink berry, Fruits
Heart notes: Hawthorne, Jasmine, Wood, Nutmeg
Bottom notes: Vanilla, Amber, Musk, Cistus Labdanum

How to use
Pour 1/3 of the perfume concentrate onto the stone.
The fragrant formulation naturally releases its aromas when the pretty box of white and blue porcelain remains open. The Alabaster will efficiently and lastingly fill rooms medium and small with fragrance.
Nota bene: pour the perfume concentrate with caution. Should it come in contact with your hands, rinse abundantly!
