Description
Copaiba – also known as copahu – is a viscous oleoresin with a light brown tint and a pungent, penetrating fragrance, obtained from the trunk of Copaifera officinalis in the Amazon rainforest. Its composition, high in oleic-linoleic acid and in Vitamin E assists with cell turnover and healing. It is also non-allergenic, and is a potent remedy for parched, very dry or atopic skin.
Copaiba oil is also used by Amazonian tribes to soothe minor as well as major skin aches, such as psoriasis, mosquito bites, burns and eczema...
