Description
Gathered from inside the illustrious coconut, this white pulp, when grated and pressed, oozes a sweet oil, rich in lauric acid, from which it derives its virtuous properties.
Some of its fame is due to monoï, a coconut pulp oil infused with the scent of Tiaré flowers. Renowned for coating and strengthening hair shafts, but also for soothing the skin after exposure to the sun and bringing relief to dry skin.
In Polynesia, children are also massaged with this most potent oil.
