Description
Clean and clear hands are a token of health and charm. The quality of the soaps than can be found in public restrooms, airports, hotels, trains and the like is at best inconsistent, and at worst decidedly sub-par. This takes a toll on both hand and mood – what with drying detergents, questionable or even frankly objectionable smells, and so on.
For sensitive hands in transit, L’Officine universelle Buly has reinvented the travel soap in the form of a soap sheet, inspired by the tradition of the Japanese “Kami soap”.
This ultra-thin sheet of saponified cellulose, which can be slipped into the slimmest of handbags or between the pages of a book, will dissolve upon contact with water, leaving the hands cleansed and delightfully fragrant.

Scents
Steam rising from marble sluiced with waves of heated water, dampened muslin wraps the shining limbs, delicately soaped; susurrations of the hammam. After bathing, resting on fresh sheets, the skin, still beaded with moisture, is chafed with lavender and orange blossom; now refreshed, its velvety pallor like an iris petal pearled by a mist of incense and musk.
