Incense and pink pepper enhanced with intensely musky notes.
Drawn and chiselled using traditional techniques, the Officine postcards are an appetiser for a feast for the senses: sight, as they display eight masterpieces from the Louvre Museum; smell, with their delicate scents; and touch, as they reveal their fragrance with the lightest of touches, like precious bouquets in bloom.
The musky, chilly satin of a shoulder, the sinuous curve of a hip or breast, gleaming in an alcove chased with brass, an Orientalist’s shrine, a dream of Eastern Promise. The pink pepper of the cheeks pricks the heart and, beneath the silken scarf, a perfume of incense suffuses the hair.
